View all destinationsThe Bahamas' peak villa season runs from December through April, when the northeast trade winds keep temperatures comfortable, humidity is at its lowest, and the water across the archipelago is at its clearest. January through March is the most in-demand period, with the finest properties reserved well in advance and rates at their highest. The summer months, from May through August, bring warmer water, higher humidity, and considerably lower rates — the weather is more variable but the sea temperature peaks during this period and the islands are considerably quieter. Hurricane season runs from June through November, with the most active period typically falling between August and October — guests travelling during these months should factor this into their planning. For guests with flexibility, May and early June, and again in late November, offer warm conditions with greater availability and lower rates than the peak winter season.
The Bahamas comprises more than seven hundred islands and cays spread across one hundred thousand square kilometres of the Atlantic, and the character of a stay here depends entirely on which part of the archipelago a property sits within. Tucasa's Bahamas villa rentals include beachfront estates on New Providence within reach of Nassau's restaurants and cultural life, private retreats on the Out Islands of the Exumas and Eleuthera where the pace slows deliberately and the nearest neighbour may be miles away, and properties on private islands or cays surrounded by the turquoise water and white sand that have made the Bahamas one of the most recognisable landscapes in the world. Each property is selected for its position relative to the water, the quality of its beachfront or island setting, and the management team responsible for the day-to-day experience.
It depends on the nature of the visit. Nassau and New Providence suit guests who want direct international access, the convenience of the capital's restaurants and cultural life, and a beachfront property entirely their own. The Exumas suit guests seeking the archipelago's most extraordinary water and the possibility of a property on an individual cay surrounded by reef. Eleuthera and Harbour Island suit guests who want the Bahamas' finest beaches — including the pink sand beaches for which the island is known — combined with an unhurried pace. Tucasa can advise based on group size, dates, and the character of the stay.

Bahamas beachfront villas vary considerably depending on their location within the archipelago. Properties on New Providence typically offer direct beach access combined with proximity to Nassau's infrastructure. Out Island properties — on the Exumas or Eleuthera — offer greater seclusion, often with a private beach or cay, and snorkelling or diving directly from the shore. Specific beachfront details are confirmed for each property at the time of enquiry.
Yes — private boat and seaplane charters between the islands are among the most requested experiences in the Bahamas collection. Our concierge team arranges access to the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, bonefishing and sport fishing charters, and excursions to the sandbanks and cays of the wider archipelago. All details are coordinated through our team prior to arrival.
Private chef service is available on request for all properties in the Tucasa Bahamas collection. Our concierge team works with chefs who draw on Bahamian cuisine and the exceptional seafood of the archipelago — conch, grouper, and spiny lobster. All dietary requirements, grocery sourcing, and kitchen coordination are arranged in advance. Chef availability should be confirmed at the time of enquiry.
