Villa Aurora
Amalfi Coast, Italy

Set into the cliffs of Furore, one of the quieter corners of the Amalfi Coast, Villa Aurora is a traditional clifftop villa arranged over several levels that step down toward the sea. The white facade, arched loggias, and vaulted ceilings are characteristic of the coastline, while the interiors keep to a calm palette of whitewashed walls, hand-painted majolica floors, antique wood furniture, and soft blue textiles. Nearly every room opens to the water through arched windows and glass doors.
Outdoor living is organized across a sequence of terraces. A swimming pool sits on a rock terrace above the sea, with sun loungers, a pergola-shaded lounge, and dining areas set among the cliffside gardens. Stone steps descend through the rock to a private bathing platform at the water's edge, and an elevator connects the levels for easy movement throughout the property.
Five bedrooms are spread across the floors, each with sea views, antique furnishings, and en-suite bathrooms finished in marble and patterned ceramic tile. Several feature clawfoot tubs and hand-decorated detailing.
Furore sits between Positano and Amalfi, a short drive from both, with Ravello, the Fiordo di Furore, and the coast's restaurants and beaches within easy reach. Naples airport is around ninety minutes away.
