Villa Demeter

Villa Demeter sits on the upper hillside above the bay, in a quiet pocket of Mykonos with the open Aegean visible from every principal room. The house is laid out across two levels in clean contemporary Cycladic form — sharp white volumes, recessed openings, and dry-stone retaining walls cut into the slope — with five en-suite bedrooms distributed across the main building.

The pool terrace defines the property. A long infinity pool runs the length of the deck, fed by a raised spa-jacuzzi that spills back into the main basin through a wide stone weir. Pale porcelain paving, white timber loungers, and woven baskets of folded linens sit at the water's edge; deep cushioned beanbags and floor pillows extend the lounging area toward the view.

A covered outdoor lounge is built into the upper terrace, with a deep banquette in patterned grey linen, integrated table lighting, and a stone-framed window cut through to the landscape — a quiet space that holds its own at any hour. The alfresco dining table seats ten beneath a white-painted timber pergola, set on the corner of the deck where the bay opens fully to the horizon. A separate covered gym, open on three sides, is fitted with a Spinning bike, BOSU, mat, and aerial yoga silks suspended from the timber ceiling.

Inside, the interiors are bright and restrained — white plaster, pale stone floors, warm timber accents, a fitted modern kitchen, and full-height shutters that open the ground floor to the terrace.

The beach is a short drive; Mykonos Town is fifteen minutes away.
