Villa Nefeli

Set above the bay of Agios Lazaros on Mykonos's south-west coast, Villa Nefeli occupies one of the most privileged positions on the island — a seafront plot with uninterrupted views across the open Aegean and the celebrated bay of Psarou directly below, where the white sand and turquoise water draw the season's most coveted yachts. The location places guests within minutes of Psarou and Platis Gialos beaches and their iconic beach clubs, with Mykonos Town and the Old Port a short drive across the headland.

The architecture balances the island's traditional language with a confident contemporary hand. Hand-laid Mykonian stone walls — built in the local schist tradition — form the lower volumes and retaining terraces, while white plastered upper volumes and deep timber pergolas with horizontal beams float above. The combination feels both rooted and current, scaled across multiple levels that step down the cliff toward the sea. Inside, the palette stays calm and tactile: pale walls, polished concrete and stone floors, soft linen upholstery, woven natural-fibre rugs, and a careful selection of contemporary furniture that lets the views do most of the work.

Outdoor living is the heart of the villa. A long rectangular infinity pool runs along the cliff edge, its weir aligned precisely with the horizon and the bay below — a feature designed so that swimming at the pool's far end places guests visually at sea level.
