Agnanti Villa

Set on a hillside above the western coast of Paros, Agnanti Villa takes its name from the Greek word for "facing the view" — and the orientation defines everything about the property. The kidney-shaped infinity pool is aligned directly with the horizon, the open-plan living spaces face the coast, and every terrace is positioned to catch the sunset across the Aegean toward the neighbouring Cycladic islands. The fishing village of Naoussa with its harbour and tavernas sits a short drive below, the harbour at Parikia twelve minutes away, and the white-sand beaches of Kolymbithres and Santa Maria within easy reach.

The architecture draws on the Cycladic vernacular and reinterprets it with a more substantial scale. Hand-laid Parian schist stone walls anchor the property to the slope, with white plastered volumes layered on top — square columns, deep window niches, recessed ceiling alcoves, and built-in banquette seating that doubles as casual lounging or extra dining. A wide covered terrace runs along the south facade beneath a timber-and-reed pergola, finished with a slate-paved floor that flows continuously from inside to out.

Outdoor living is the heart of the villa. The infinity pool sits at the centre of a generous slate sun terrace, with shaded daybeds, sun loungers, and reading nooks positioned around the perimeter. The covered terrace houses an alfresco dining area for long meals, and a full outdoor kitchen tucked behind the stone wall makes it possible to spend most of the day outdoors. Classical Greek pithoi pots and architectural planting punctuate the terraces, and traditional Cycladic detailing — the blue accents, the woven seating, the lime-washed walls — stays consistent throughout.

Four bedrooms sleep eight, distributed across the main house and a separate guest wing, each with private terraces and views of the sea or the mountain.
