Can Gabriela

Set on a 30-hectare ecological estate above the village of Moscari in northern Mallorca, Can Gabriela is a traditional stone finca reimagined with restrained Dutch interior design — a balance of honest local materials and pared-back contemporary furniture. Olive and almond groves step away from the house in every direction, with panoramic views over the central plain to the Serra de Tramuntana on one side and the sea on the other. Palma is thirty minutes south, the beaches at Alcúdia twenty-five north, and the village itself a short walk from the gate.

The architecture is unmistakably Mallorcan — dry-stone walls, timber persianas, and clay-tile roofs — opened up internally to create generous, light-filled rooms. The entrance leads through a billiard area into the main living room, which flows into a Bulthaup kitchen with La Cornue gas range and a long dining space for ten. Wide doors push out to the pool terrace and the panoramic stone-paved viewpoint, where a sail-shaded lounge and dining area look across the valley. A working fireplace, underfloor heating, and pool heating make the property genuinely usable year-round.

The grounds are designed for slow days and active ones in equal measure. A heated saltwater pool runs alongside the lawn, sun loungers tucked under parasols. A full-sized tennis court sits a short walk from the house, shared with the neighboring sister villa Can Goyo for groups travelling together. Cycling, mountain biking, golf, and guided walks are all accessible from the estate, and a five-star private hotel service — chef, concierge, and daily housekeeping — is available on request.

Five en-suite bedrooms across two floors sleep ten, with the master on the ground floor and four further doubles or twins above.
