Villa Alpine

Alpine Meadows Retreat sits a short walk from the Highlands base in Beaver Creek, close enough to ski straight to the Centennial Lift in the morning and walk home from the Highlands skiway at the end of the day. The house blends modern lines with rustic mountain materials, and the kitchen and dining room — lit by panoramic windows on every side — do the work of announcing that the moment you walk in.

From there, a deck opens for outdoor entertaining, or the stairs lead down to a sunken living room built around a fireplace and television, with a second balcony just off it. Spread across the home's four floors, four bedrooms each keep their own ensuite — the main suite pairs a king bed with a steam shower and double vanity, while three guest rooms sleep two apiece. A den adds further sleeping space with two bunk beds, one twin-over-twin and one twin-over-king, enough to fold in the rest of the group without anyone doubling up.

Outside, a private hot tub rounds out the list of ways to unwind between runs. Beaver Creek Village is close enough for dinner at Splendido or the Grouse Mountain Grill and a walk through its shops afterward, but the real draw is how little there is to plan — ski access, a fireplace, and a hot tub, all within reach of the front door.
