King's Crown

King's Crown Hideaway rises on Rothwell Road in Park City's Old Town, weathered board siding and black trim standing shoulder to shoulder with a row of homes built the same way. The Ski Tower marks the street out front, and the King's Crown run drops from Park City Mountain almost to the door.

Inside, an open kitchen and living room run beneath floor-to-ceiling glass, a dark fireplace wall anchoring a camel-colored sectional across from an iron-and-wood stair that climbs past a wet bar and built-in ski cubbies. Four bedrooms hold a group easily: three keep king beds and their own ensuite, one dressed in vintage skis above a channel-tufted headboard, and the fourth splits a queen-over-queen bunk for the kids.

Upstairs, a rooftop deck holds a private hot tub, a fire pit, an outdoor TV, and a grill against a run of hills that never quite leaves the skyline, Main Street's shops and restaurants a short walk below for the rest of the evening. King's Crown Hideaway asks only that you bring the group and let the mountain do the rest.
