Antlers Ridge Lodge holds its spot among the pines on Brook Street, snow banking against its gabled maroon roofline through the winter and the forest closing back in around it come summer. A covered porch off the main level looks straight into the trees, green Adirondack chairs set out for however long you want to sit there.

Downstairs, a game room built around a pool table gives the house somewhere to spread out, a cozy sitting nook just beyond it with its own doors onto the snow. The kitchen runs on black marble countertops and a breakfast bar built for a crowd, and the rustic, log-framed bedrooms sleep ten comfortably, each one keeping the same forest view.

Come summer, the balcony turns into the spot for dinner and drinks as the day winds down, the pines holding the light a little longer at this elevation. Antlers Ridge Lodge asks for nothing more than a group ready to fill it and slow down once they do.
