Villa Glass Mansion
Los Angeles, CA

On La Cuesta Drive above Hollywood, this 5,790-square-foot mid-century-inspired home stacks concrete and glass across three levels, its cantilevered form reaching out over the canyon. Floor-to-ceiling windows wrap every level, pulling the hillside and its tree cover into view from nearly every room.
Inside, a floating wood staircase climbs past a concrete block wall beneath a soaring ceiling. The kitchen runs on marble counters and mahogany cabinetry, with a paneled refrigerator, dual sinks, twin dishwashers, and integrated wine storage built into a dark cabinetry run. Upstairs, three en-suite bedrooms open onto their own balconies, the primary suite finished in wide-plank hardwood with a spa-styled bath. A glass-enclosed fireplace warms the main living area, where floor-to-ceiling glass slides back to blur the line between inside and out.
The top level opens onto a broad covered entertainment deck with a pool table and overhead heaters, steps from an outdoor kitchen and a cedar sauna. Below, an infinity pool and spa cantilever off the hillside, appearing to hang above the canyon floor. Set into its slope quietly, the house holds its glass and concrete form steady against the hillside — built for looking out rather than being looked at.
