Villa Skyline
Los Angeles, CA

At the end of a cul-de-sac in Tarzana, Villa Skyline sits on a half-acre lot with an unobstructed view straight down into the Valley. The home is new construction, built low and wide with walls of glass turned toward the view, so that the hillside drops away just past the deck rail and the Valley spreads out below it, lit up at night from one edge to the other.
Inside, the living room centers on a glass-front gas fireplace beneath a floating wood staircase with steel-cable railing. A glass-walled wine cellar, fitted with built-in racks and a rolling ladder, sits just off the main living space. The kitchen runs on dark flat-panel cabinetry and a waterfall quartz island, outfitted with a full suite of integrated appliances, with a separate dining area nearby. Five bedrooms and six bathrooms fill out the floor plan, including a primary suite with its own fireplace and floor-to-ceiling glass framing the Valley view. A bonus room downstairs holds a pool table and wall-mounted TV, built for game nights rather than movie screenings.
Outside, a wood deck wraps a rectangular pool with an attached spa, bordered by turf lawn on one side. A pergola-covered lounge holds deep sectional seating, and a separate pergola shelters an outdoor kitchen and bar with seating for eight, a built-in grill, and a mounted TV. From up here, the Valley just keeps unfolding — quiet in the morning, lit up by night.
