Empire Chalet sits inside Flagstaff Lodge, deep in Deer Valley, with ski-in/ski-out access straight onto Silver Buck Run. Large picture windows carry that setting indoors, filling the main living area with light and holding the view rather than just gesturing at it from a balcony down the hall.

Inside, a plush seating area gathers around a stone fireplace, the kind of room built for coming in from the cold. The kitchen keeps pace with a copper farmhouse sink, a Wolf range, and a generous island, a breakfast nook and an adjacent dining area giving the group room to eat together either way. Three bedrooms each keep their own ensuite: the main suite adds a fireplace and a spa-style bathroom with a soaking tub, a second bedroom holds a king bed, and a third is built for kids with custom bunk beds, a separate powder room rounding out the layout for guests passing through.

Step onto the private balcony for the mountain air, or let Flagstaff Lodge do the rest — a hot tub, a game room, complimentary après-ski pours in winter, ski valet, and a private shuttle that reaches Park City's historic Main Street without a second thought. Summer trades the run outside for Silver Lake Trail and the view from Sterling Express, but Empire Chalet holds its shape either way.
